Who’s really accountable here? IDScan? If this dump came from them For running a cloud that can keep licence scans long after scanning is done. Nexus says it pulled new files for over a year. It claims more than 153 million licences are for sale. IDScan has not confirmed the

I really recommending reading this. In summary, a company which does ID verification for in-person interactions (hotels, car rentals, ID verification for alcohol or marijuana, etc) has some how exposed over 153,000,000 drivers licenses for people in the United States and Canada.

Dropbox users just got hacked through a Lenovo login, not their Dropbox password. A stolen session should still hit a locked box. That’s what end-to-end encryption is for, and how MEGA is built. Without E2EE, stealing the session is stealing the files. With it, they only get

If you got multiple password reset emails from X that you didn’t ask for, don’t click any links in them. Do this in the app instead: Settings → Security and account access → Security - Turn on 2FA - Turn on Password reset protect That setting means a reset also has to be
