The M6 Mac mini got faster everything and costs $300 more than the M4 launched at. Apple's playing catch-up with its own chip release schedule by raising the floor. macobserver.com/tips/round-ups…

The M6 gets two extra CPU cores over the M5, but only if you buy the Mac mini. Mac Studio customers get the M5 Ultra, which is just two M5s taped together. macobserver.com/news/apple-unv…
