Pt with chronic #PMT after splenectomy for trauma. Biliary obstruction + #hemobilia due to #portobiliopathy. Covered stent by #ERCP. @MountSinaiIR placed a #cavernoma -> IVC shunt. Stents removed 6wks later. No bleeding on #DOAC. @SIRspecialists @thegestgroup @JVIRmedia

Not every new technology is Earth shattering some just make life easier and cases more efficient. Used the new #Finesse injectable PTA catheter @SummaTherapeut1. Crossed , imaged, and treated lesion all with the same catheter -> less contrast and better imaging.

One of our first #Obsidio cases here @MountSinaiIR. Bleeding duodenal ulcer. Was able to occlude GDA with ~0.5mL of Obsidio in less than 30 sec @bsc_io @thegestgroup @SIRspecialists @SIRRFS @cirsesociety @ISETNews

Just a reminder not all gastric bleed come from gastric arteries. Massive #UGIB with + #CTA. LGA and gastroepiploic angios negative. Bleed in #stomach came from distal branch of splenic. #glue embolized H/H stable & off pressors @JVIRmedia @thegestgroup @cirsesociety

These are some of my most satisfying cases. #IR consulted for #Gtube in a pt with “failure to thrive”. @lbrowneyoung and I go to eval patient and determine she actually has #CMI from #SMAstenosis. Stented next day and eating pizza that evening. @SIRspecialists @SIRRFS @JVIRmedia
