- One of the few I met only in passing. He was part of the “Hair Metal” school of FX Rockers and I came up just right after via Dick Smith. But his stuff was always out of left field smart.It was reported by his family that Screaming Mad George had passed away in February at the age of 69. He had a hand in so many of our favorites including Spaceballs, Big Trouble in Little China, A Nightmare on Elm Street parts 3 and 4, Freaked, and he brought Guyver to life!
