    These data divergences are intolerable and ministers don't seem to realise that they could be the difference between success and failure. HMG needs to urgently get a grip of the numbers

    And finally a big drop in output per hour during Q2 26, widening the divergence between the LFS and HMRC-derived measures. LFS has hours worked up by a punchy 1.6% QoQ!
