- Arthur Mukembo, CEO of @FutureLabAfrica, urged the cohort to “mind the gap” — clearly define the problem and what’s broken. He reminded them they’re not first to try, but success comes from solving it better and building for long-term growth.
- Rowena Turinawe, WiT Program Coach highlighted what makes WiT unique: Founders ask real questions, apply insights immediately, & see tangible business impact. She also challenged the cohort not to get too attached to their solutions and lose sight of the problem they’re solving.
- @RoselynNajjuma, Head of Transaction Banking & Country Lead for Sustainable Finance spoke about the shift from founder-led operations to scalable leadership and encouraged the cohort to build networks, refine their pitch & develop skills as they grow into stronger leaders.
