$USC update on Tectonic
As part of the Orby Network sunset, $USC utility will be wound down for Tectonic. Here's what this means for Tectonic users:
What's changing:
- $USC borrowing has been disabled on Tectonic

The @CronosNetwork has resumed block production
We're running further checks on our systems and dependencies. Once those clear, we'll reopen in phases.
First phase is withdraw assets and repay loans, with borrowing and deposits staying paused while we finalize next steps.
The Cronos Network is producing blocks again and is fully back online.
The Cronos Network halted earlier today. This was a validator-consensus emergency action to protect users from an exploit on the Tectonic protocol. The chain state was restored to before the Tectonic exploit
We are aware of an incident affecting Tectonic and our team is actively investigating.
As a precaution, please do not interact with the protocol until we confirm it is safe to do so.

A quick reminder for USC suppliers on Tectonic:
If you have USC supplied on Tectonic, consider withdrawing it soon. You can then swap your USC via the @VVS_finance, which closes on 7 July 2026.
