This Dapper, T.I Blaze, Seyi Vibez and Shallipopi saga is not simply a story about bad labels and unhappy artistes. There is much more to it. People who automatically assume labels and label owners are the villains in every artiste-label dispute are looking at the business too

I don’t dislike Zinoleesky at all. He is massively underrated. He’s just unlucky to be at the wrong label. He would have been better off at Dapper Records or any label that isn’t run by a singing boss. Marlian records was never the ideal home for him. Nobody pushes street music
