If you are using llms to code, these are pretty solid cost effective options right now Deepseek v4 Flash 07/31 release GPT 5.6 Luna Max (Just got 80% permanent price cut a few days ago) Hy3 & Laguna 2.1 S (these are free on kilo, open code, cline, etc rn) Check the work though

Finally realized the magic of GDScript: you hit Play and get instant feedback. The slower performance doesn't really matter because you port any performance bottlenecks to GdExtension (C++, Rust, etc). Once those are built, you still get the hit play and run instantly benefit.
