I had a stupid idea for a text editor where all the formatting controls were continuous and scrubbable, so you could have 30% bold -50% italic half-left-aligned. stupid and dumb!
This is also affecting how readers perceive book covers made (especially lazily) with AI.
They assume if you can do that to your book, they can't trust the quality of your work.
One fun fact about me: If I don't like the artwork/logo of a piece of media, I skip it lol. If you're not serious about the presentation, I most likely won't bother discovering what's underneath.
