- I’m concerned about the faustian trade of our free will for convenience. My @geekwire op-ed on “The WALL-E Economy” and the dystopia we’re approaching with AI and smartphones, but can avoid with policy and behavior changes.
- First day at @PrattInstitute campus as a student! Taking a month long intensive course in (physical) architecture. Just like software, I’ve always loved the blend of creativity and constraints.
- Seattle drone show for the World Cup. Way more interesting (and quiet) than fireworks, glad to see them more often!
- It's impossible to get Google Cloud Run, Identity Aware Proxy, and Cloud Tasks to work together given the byzantine set of IAM interactions, service accounts, etc. Makes sense entire companies exist to arbitrage the complexity of modern cloud.
