- Congratulations to @tonysammel on presenting the 5 year results of the GAPS study. Providing fresh insight into GCA’s potential natural history at large vs. cranial vessels👏@tonysammel presenting 5 yr follow up of GAPS study. Showed resolution of cranial activity in GCA but 45% new aortic activity on PET. Exclusively in this not taking a DMARD. It's a small study (n=11) but is it early evidence of disease modifications? #ACR23
