- Your work not matching your taste yet is not proof that you should stop. It is proof that you are at the beginning. Let yourself be a beginner. Stay long enough to get past the part that looks ugly.
- Persistence is not always dramatic. Sometimes it is opening the laptop again, sending another application, or filming another video after the last one was ignored. If all you can do today is not quit, that is not nothing. That is the work.
- If you are doing anything that matters, failure is already in the package. You cannot have the result without the messy middle. You are allowed to be a work in progress in public. Failure hurts, but it also means you are moving.
- Most attempts will not work immediately. That does not make failure your identity. It only means that attempt did not work. You do not need a perfect record. You need one idea, one yes, or one moment to land. Stay long enough to be there when it happens.
