I really don't think anyone has to care about that letter too much. yes it's dumb for obv reasons, but it's also dumb to act like you don't understand why ppl would sign it for principled reasons. it has literally zero impact on anything, so that's how much it's worth caring abt

I would say that I'm an 'optimist' about this in the sense that I think some type of full-on systems collapse thru other means (i.e. massive simulataneuous climate+econ shocks) could create similar enough conditions

The only way for a real "revolutionary moment" to take place in this country is through horrendous losses in a doomed war. So maybe soon but given how stupid the left is, I wouldn't bet on it.
