    Tinkering spirit is strong with this one. Much more work than hw2->hw3 that was all the rage in 2019, but still doable. I do wonder how the different formfactor mcu was pushed in.

    First camera started working on a Hardwaee 4 equipped Model 3 (2022). Yes, we did the retrofit! It’s not as bad as it seemed, the computer replacement needed, some light ECU hacking. No need to replace camera cables as well, you can get away with adapters. It’s driving, but

    If I only had one wish to be granted today, I would wish Tesla to to file response to this NHTSA request wrt the photon counting without any of their usual "super duper secret business information" bs. That would answer so many questions people had and settle so many arguments

    Hm, I wonder what is this "penta cam" that is undergoing development in AP code for a couple months now? A reduced AP sensor suite? just a different one being readied for alaunch? (currently hw4 has 7 external cams (8 with bumper cam) Would be great to get a a Tesla comment on

    Hm, this recent fatal Tesla Semi crash is interesting. I wonder what sort of autopilot firmware do they run up there, one would think the "running into stopped cars" scenario was long long fixed? Also "driver reportedly fell asleep"? What kind of driver monitor do they have

    Hm... When did non-Tesla owned superchargers became a thing? Recent firmwares added an option for cars with free unlimited supercharging to only use the Tesla-owned ones that would accept the free use. "routes you exclusively to Tesla Supe rchargers. This excludes third-party
