Every college admissions officer needs to read this study. I’m not surprised. There is so much impatience. People optimizing for short term success. They can’t see past this year or the next few years max.
Loved his book also. Not everything important can be counted. This is one of the reasons the quality of relationships over 30+ years in business at @altosvc is perhaps our best accomplishment (both business and personal). Some things can’t be measured (like DPI, IRR, or TVPI).
