At night your guild will get visitors from more nefarious factions in the valley, such as the thieves' and assassins' guilds, and various bandit groups. Your response will be up to you, but aligning with these types will alienate you from more lawful factions.

Supporting multiple floors and elevation was such an important detail that if I hadn't been able to make your adventurers climb up stairs, the game would not be made at all. It was crucial that players were able to create buildings of many sizes, floors, sections, bridges, etc.

I'm working on a "population boom" system that lets the game spawn adventurer types at certain states: send out "Rangers needed" notices and more rangers spawn, sell spellbooks to get mages, etc. It's a work-in-progress, and during testing I also get to see stuff like this:

I’ve built my subjects a little "arena" to test and debug Guildmaker’s combat. More work to do, but I’ll be experimenting away at target acquisition, switching, and other combat logic. Also not pictured are mage spells, area-of-effect attacks, and buffs. Coming soon though!
