    working on the 2nd edition of my linear algebra text for use this term... asked claude to suggest best markdown conversion (figured it would say "use pandoc") & it wrote a custom converter, normalized latex macros, integrated reference numbers, added notation tables, etc. wow!

    i've got a few books under my belt, each with so many regrettable errors -- it's so difficult to find & mend them all... claude fable (& opus 5) have been *amazingly* useful at just fixing things... now is a *great* time for profs to start writing complex book projects...
