    Pleased to see panelist recognize the intersection between COPPA and FERPA in #FTCProtectKids. The two laws can work together to effectively minimize collection and use. Was considered in recent rule update but not included despite support from edu community including ed tech.

    Really interesting that @USDOT's press release includes an entire paragraph focused on COPPA - "DOT enforces airlines’ compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)."

    Airlines that unfairly or deceptively misuse passenger data may be violating the law. Great to see this @USDOT inquiry into the privacy practices of airlines. Americans shouldn’t have to choose between flying and protecting their privacy. transportation.gov/briefing-room/…
