I spent childhood wanting to be Spider-Man.
Then adulthood gave me the part nobody talks about:
Pressure.
Responsibility.
Failure.
The choice to get back up.
A thread about growing up, striving, and rising.
If I had to rebuild my mindset from scratch:
I’d stop romanticizing the grind.
I’d pick one thing and do it daily.
Self-discipline is a side effect of clarity.
The more decisions you remove,
the more progress you make.
I didn’t master my habits.
I just stopped lying to myself.
“I’ll do it later”
became...
“I’ll do it now.”
Motivation is unreliable.
Discipline is built by doing the thing,
especially when you don’t feel like it.
I realized something was off when I felt busy all the time…
but nothing was moving.
That’s when I learned:
→ Movement isn’t the same as momentum.
I started saying no.
Focused on one task at a time.
It felt slow at first.
Then it started compounding.
