Get your prescriptions before the August #BankHoliday. Most practices ask patients to order prescriptions at least three working days in advance. Phoning 999 because you have run out of your prescription is not a suitable use of our resources. #ChooseWisely

Unsure where to go for medical help? NHS 111 is here to help — day or night. Trained advisers and clinicians can guide you to the most appropriate service for your needs, whether that’s self-care, a pharmacy, urgent treatment centre, GP, or emergency care. Think 111 first 💙

Our staff are here to help, care and support people when they need us most. A smile, a thank you, or a little patience can make a difficult day better for everyone. Please remember: ❌ Abuse is not part of the job ❌ Violence is never acceptable ✅ Respect and kindness matter

Heading to the beach this weekend? Great – we’ve got some stunning spots in the South West. Please remember however – tides change fast, and a lot of our coastal callouts could be avoided. Swim between the flags, keep an eye on your group, and always check local tide times.
