Our latest post looks at outcomes of pupils who are identified as 'bright' at age 5. We find that bright-but-poor 5-year-olds are around 26 percentage points less likely to go on to achieve a top grade in GCSE maths than those from rich backgrounds. ffteducationdatalab.org.uk/2024/06/school…
