This is admirably clear and tough. The benefits of a united Europe! The World Cup is nothing without European teams. I suspect other regional federations will soon follow suit. Infantino’s grubby sell-off - and indeed his position - becoming untenable now.

This is wise. Unless high quality palliative care is available for all, then assisted dying will never be anything more than Hobson’s choice, especially for the poorest, for minorities and others lacking the agency of - for instance - your average politician or commentator.

This is as dismal as it is predictable. Very pleased to see the strong and robust response from UEFA telling Infantino to get knotted. Europe needs to be prepared to walk away from FIFA and start from scratch if that’s the only way to keep the people’s game for the people.

This all feels a bit… botched? Some good appointments, but some appear to be afterthoughts, people saying no and leaving the PM to appoint his 3rd choice etc. I might be wrong, this could all be a work of genius. It’s helping me through my World Cup withdrawal, so that’s nice.
