Google Cloud VMware Engine documentation
Google Cloud VMware Engine lets you run VMware workloads on Google Cloud. Google Cloud VMware Engine is available as VMware solution on Google Cloud or as a Google Cloud-managed service:
VMware solution on Google Cloud
Deploy and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) on dedicated bare-metal infrastructure under a Bring Your Own License (BYOL) model. You maintain control over your VMware environment, configurations, and software lifecycle, while Google Cloud manages the physical infrastructure.
Google Cloud-managed
A fully managed service operated by Google Cloud that provides automated private cloud provisioning, lifecycle management of the VMware stack, integrated Google Cloud networking, and built-in VMware licensing.
