The IMN-Ontario is now located at McMaster University after a very successful 5-year inaugural stretch at Western University.

With this move in 2023, we now have a new lead Investigator and a new Research Coordinator, and we aim to honour the previous IMN’s legacy by offering funding, support, community, and mentorship events for Indigenous Health scholars, trainees, and researchers across Ontario.

We are indebted to the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) for its continued generosity and funding, which supports us as we grow the next generation of Indigenous Health scholars in Ontario.

Supporting Indigenous health scholars serves the research needs and capacities of Ontario’s Indigenous communities, so that we can ensure and advance Indigenous health equality across our province.
