Which AI engines do you check?

ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews on every plan. Growth and Scale add Perplexity and Claude. We save the answer a signed-out person sees in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google. For Perplexity and Claude, we ask their APIs with web search and label those results.

How often do you check?

Every tracked question gets a full check each week and a lighter check on the other days. Claude is checked weekly. A new question gets its first check soon after you add it.

Is this GEO or AEO?

Both names describe the same goal: getting named and cited in AI answers. We track those answers, find where you're missing, and publish the pages that fix it, with the same care for Google search.

Won't Google penalize AI-written content?

Google's rules target pages made at scale without adding value. RootSmith works the other way: fewer pages, each tied to a real gap, with sourced claims and your team's input. A person approves each draft unless you choose automatic approval.
