Markdown shortcut erases block content

Describe the bug
When you add “[]” + space in the middle of a line, it automatically overwrites the current block content. User can retrieve by doing a backspace. But that might result in losing data ...

To Reproduce

• Add a checklist block, type some content
• type [] + space
• see the content get erased
