Eligibility

Hack For Her is open to girls and young women currently enrolled in middle school or high school

Participants may compete individually or in teams

All participants must register for the hackathon and submit through Devpost
Project Guidelines

All projects must be created during the official hacking period from February 9 to February 13
-
Projects must be original work created for this hackathon

Any programming language, framework, or platform may be used
-
Use of open source libraries and publicly available APIs is allowed, as long as they are properly credited
-
Projects do not need to be fully production ready, but should demonstrate a clear idea and working concept
Submissions

Each team may submit one project

Submissions must be completed on Devpost by the stated deadline

Required submission materials are listed in the Submission Requirements section

Incomplete submissions may not be considered for judging
Judging and Prizes

Projects will be judged based on creativity, technical execution, impact, and clarity of presentation

Judges’ decisions are final
