What I Optimized
- Theme choice — GeneratePress (no page builder). Minimal CSS and JS footprint.
- Plugin audit — Only 7 active plugins. Each one justified.
- Autoload optimization — WP Multi Tool keeps autoloaded data at 95 KB. See the database optimization guide for details.
- Server config — nginx with FastCGI microcache, Brotli compression, browser caching headers. PHP 8.5 FPM. The diagnostic framework explains why these choices matter.
- No page builder — Content uses native WordPress blocks. Zero builder overhead.
