DEFCON is cool because it’s truly people trolling bad actors for the fun of the game, and then turning that into intelligence and insane storytelling. Nothing has me gripped like a slideshow of screenshots from someone talking to a DPRK IT worker. Like yes, pls spill tea to me

🧵 of my Vegas takeaways: - People are finding vulns, but fixing them still is the long tail in cyber. But the shot clock for fixing has reduced dramatically to open source. - ICS/SCADA worries me the most; these tend to live exposed, ripe for compromise.
