    Hedge fund LPs chasing returns without risk-adjusting ALWAYS ends badly for the LP, but great for the manager who gets paid on the upside but limited downside. Happens in EVERY CYCLE. The consistency with which LP‘s chase shiny things (with leverage) reinforces that markets have

    Its also a commentary on how corporate structure can end-run Reg BI. Reg BI requires broker-dealers to act in the customers best interest. Robinhood Securities is a FINRA b/d that has those obligations. But Robinhood Crypto is a separate legal entity that is not a b/d. All of

    Equity trading is just 17% of Robinhood's revenues. Options, crypto, event contracts, and fees are 83%. Their margins when clients buy and hold equities are virtually zero. Margins when clients gamble are large. It's a fundamental misalignment with customers' long-term interests.

    Robinhood prediction markets revenue expected to top crypto trading revenue in 2Q and in FY 2026-27. Running near 10-15% of $HOOD total revs and already bigger than stock trading in 1Q.
