    QR codes are the perfect scam vector since anyone can generate one, and the human eye can't tell a real one from a fake. Pause before you scan, inspect the link after you do, and never enter credentials or financial info on the page it opens.

    Be very careful with QR codes! Only scan from people you can trust, like reputable ppl or brands at events in person. I’d avoid 3rd party reposts online. Watched a live demo of WhatsApp getting hacked just from scanning a QR code once and it’s forever seared into my mind
