    Excited to share about what I’ve been working on over the past year: quantifying the capacity of a neuron😅 This led to a mathematical framework we call HOPE, which lets us rigorously deconstruct what deep networks might have learned. Paper: arxiv.org/abs/2607.21366

    Years of working w/ @bneyshabur at GDM proved me one thing: seek his advice to land where you need to be. I called him the "AI Compass." I witnessed the compass’s voodoo constrained by team agendas. Now free to point anywhere in an ocean of ambitious ideas, we're at singularity.

    The end of an era. Dimitri Bertsekas, a pioneer of mathematical optimization, has passed away. So many of us relied on his textbooks to get through graduate school. His work shaped the minds of a generation.

    Bidding on my #NeurIPS AC batch today I noticed two submissions proposing a method with the exact same name, and reshuffled title words, and reworded abstract. Looks like a deliberate near duplicate submission to boost acceptance chances. Heads up ACs and reviewers. @NeurIPSConf
