    most "sell puts on SPY" advice skips the harder half: when NOT to. so we studied it. 2019-2026, SPY 16-delta managed short puts. filtering to only the days our Premium Window was ON: win rate barely moved, ~80% either way. what changed was the risk. max drawdown went from

    covered call income can quietly turn into a reason to hold a loser. the premium keeps landing, so the position keeps feeling fine, right up until you actually check the P&L.

    we took the trade prompts out of Storm on purpose. it tells you the weather, not the trade. knowing it's stormy is the edge. what you do about it is yours.

    $AAPL down ~8% on earnings, worst day in over a year. anyone who sold puts into the print just found out what that fat premium was actually pricing. earnings premium is never quiet theta. it's a coin flip wearing a theta costume.

    $ORCL is green today, up ~5%, first real relief in a while. but the storm read is on day 38. this is what wears premium sellers down. a name bleeds from ~340 to ~125 over weeks, the put premium looks incredible the whole way, and a green day finally makes it feel safe to sell
