- The first person to walk on the Moon, Neil Armstrong, was born on #TDIH in 1930. He was an Apollo 11 astronaut, NASA test pilot, the command pilot of Gemini 8, and an inspiration to millions around the world. More on his legacy: s.si.edu/4fqZJld
- Aviator Florence Lowe "Pancho" Barnes set a new speed record for women on #TDIH in 1930. She flew at approximately 196 mph.
