I started a company earlier this year. Not ready yet to say exactly what we're doing, but I want to share some thoughts about why. The first in a series, The Small Internet:

- In Jan '25 I was biking to work down Market and one of the omnipresent food delivery maniacs clipped me, pushing my tires into the streetcar track. I was able to hold on for 4 or 5 seconds before catching my wheel and highsiding 90° to the right, headfirst into a UPS truck.
- Yes YES The tiger is outYou really should watch this, regardless of how technically inclined you are. Also yes, the agent quotes will read really weird to those who have never read a raw chain of thought, though I happen to think this is where AI writing comes closest to poetry.
- Nice complement you have there. It'd be a shame if someone were to commoditize it.
