    lol Virginia Tech taking strays. I did my PhD there. Also, sometimes it’s a silver lining when you can’t raise. We owned most of the company when we sold Scite (with QSBS no less!) Blessed we didn’t over capitalize and try and build something we weren’t.

    I’ve seen multiple founders move to beach towns to build their startup. It reminds me of when I wanted to do study abroad in Barbados and my grandpa said, “what are you going to there? Surf all the time?” Unfortunately I think if you’re living like you already had an exit, ngmi.
