    Love Boltz but it’s clear too much of the mobile wallet ecosystem was centralizing around it. An equal or greater amount of wallets are now centralizing around Spark for LN connectivity. More wallets should implement Bark.

    1/ Bark 0.5.0 is out, and it comes with one of the features you've asked for most: restoring a wallet's full off-chain balance from its mnemonic.

    3/ Lightning receives can now land on external Ark addresses. A wallet claims an incoming payment for another wallet, so the recipient gets paid while offline and the forwarder never has custody. That unlocks non-custodial Lightning address servers. Thanks @benthecarman!

    The first time I visited Kyiv, back in 2018, I gave a talk about the dubious security of hardware wallets. Among other things, in that talk I specifically called out the lack of code review these wallets get, compared to, say, Bitcoin Core: youtu.be/Q65Jn0dEA8k
