Spent pretty much all day implementing an algorithm from a 1985 paper. So far I've found 2 print errors (one incomplete expression, one causing an infinite loop), and a butt-load of ambiguities about what you should compute in floating point vs integer arithmetic.

- I just had the weirdest dream. Essentially the plot of a cliche romcom, including an elaborate misunderstanding causing me to look like an ass and the girl running off. What I thought she did: confessing to p-hacking in her papers. What she really meant: hacking computers.

- Turns out implementing package-merge is really quite pleasant in #rustlang: play.rust-lang.org/?version=stabl…
- My article on prefix coding is already well over 3000 words in 6 sections, and I have 2-3 sections left to write, including the one on Package-Merge, which is the most complicated algorithm I intend to cover. I'm sure this is going to be the best thing I've ever written, though.
