Our hearts are with the communities affected by these devastating wildfires. SR 291 and SR 155 remain closed due to active wildfire response. Never drive around road closures—conditions can change in minutes. For the latest Eastern WA road closures, follow @WSDOT_East. Stay safe
Smoke billows in the distance. On the left, a line of cars waits to safely evacuate. On the right, a cop car is parked with their emergency lights on and the rest of the roadway remains clear for emergency responders using the lanes to travel westbound towards the fires.

The map emphasizes the busyness of the Seattle area, I-5, I-90, US 2, and the U.S./Canada border during the World Cup games.

We wear orange most days, but today, it has extra meaning. On this Go Orange Day, please take care to slow down, pay attention, and give crews space in work zones. At the end of the day, we all want to get home safely. #Orange4Safety
