Extensions are one of Pi’s most loved features! They are TypeScript modules that extend pi's behavior.
Here’s an example of an extension that:
- git commits a checkpoint before every turn
- gives the model a run_tests tool
- adds an /undo command to roll the session back
We are progressing through the rollout of Astra. Pro and Business subscriptions get it first, some of you should start seeing it across ChatGPT Work and Codex.
And then we will proceed with rollout to all of Plus as fast as we can.

New QOL improvements you’ll notice in this version:
