UE Gameplay Cameras Revived

The vanilla GameplayCameras plugin, and the "revived" GameplayCameras plugin, in the UE5 plugin dialog

I hinted at it last time I talked about my camera system for Unreal Engine: it might come back. Well, now it sort-of has, and if you have some use for it, you can help by sponsoring its development and getting technical support for it! All the information can be found at my company’s website. […]

A Slice of Late-1980s French Music

Catherine Ringer, singer for the band “Rita Mitsouko”, has recently passed away, so how about you watch and listen to this slice of late-1980s French music? I’m coming back to my “Reading Classic RuneQuest” series after a hiatus caused by, you know, having to deal with my twelve other hobby projects 😄 Last time I read through the “Basic Role-Playing” booklet and now I’m finally getting into the actual RuneQuest book proper! Yay! But don’t get too excited, we’ll only do […]

Here's my microblogging feed, published on my blog, and syndicated to Mastodon and Bluesky:

The collector’s conundrum: I have a punched version of White Bear & Red Moon that I can play, but my copy of Dragon Pass is unpunched… should I punch it to play with the newer rules and colour board, or should I leave it and stick to its predecessor?

Last week KamCon started with a bang: a concert of by the Darkest of the Hillside Thickets, with local band Tayos opening for them. Too bad the acoustics were bad… I’ll have to try and catch both bands in other venues whenever possible!

The Thickets playing in their usual "Lovecraftian cultist" outfit, except for the drummer dressed as Jesus.

After looking at several options for a website featuring payments and subscriptions, I understand why everybody’s raving about Ghost despite it lacking a whole bunch of basic features: it’s the cheapest option, and it has 0% transaction fees.
