How do I check where my website ranks on Google?

Is the rank checker free?
Yes. The checker on this page needs no account. There is a daily limit per visitor so the service stays fast for everyone. A free account adds daily tracking for 5 keywords, or 50 with our badge on your site.
Why is my position different from what I see in Google?
Your own searches are shaped by your location, language, search history and signed-in account. We search without personalisation from the location you pick, which is closer to what a new visitor sees. Results also shift during the day, so two checks hours apart can differ by a position or two.
How deep do you check?
You choose: the top 10, 20, 30, 50 or 100 results. Deeper checks take longer and, for tracked keywords, use more credits. If your site isn’t found, we say how far we looked.
Are mobile rankings different from desktop?
Often, yes. Google builds the mobile results page differently and shows different features. Pick the device in the checker, or track both in your dashboard.
What is the RankChecker.io badge?
A small image with a link to RankChecker.io that free users can put anywhere on their site. It raises free daily tracking from 5 to 50 keywords. We check that it’s visible and links straight to us, and give you a grace period if your site is down. Paid plans don’t need a badge.
Can I compare my rankings with competitors?
