TECOSIM: Engineering Better Living

Are you, as an automotive manufacturer or supplier, looking for a partner for engineering services? TECOSIM has more than 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry and has established itself as a solution-oriented development enterprise for the future fields of lightweight design, safety, comfort, electric vehicles and sustainability.

We offer you a comprehensive range of CAE and CAD services for use throughout the course of your product development.

All modern commercial vehicles need to be reliable, cost-effective and environmentally friendly.

TECOSIM assists truck, bus and van manufacturers in developing new solutions and meeting such requirements at a low cost in a short space of time.

TECOSIM supports the energy sector to improve systems while reducing costs and material usage.

TECOSIM has been at the heart of projects that drive down carbon emissions and unlock renewable energy. With the help of numerical calculation and computer simulation, we are able to simulate and improve weather resistance in components, the durability and life cycles of systems and their ability to withstand stress.

As production costs increase, along with the size and complexity of machines, the need for advanced engineering has never been more important for the agriculture and off-highway sectors.

With customers demanding higher output, efficiency, utilisation and reliability, our tools and experience helps optimise your product to deliver on these goals.

Lightweight construction, comfort and safety requirements play an important role in the development of railway vehicles. Users of public transport expect trouble-free operation, air-conditioned carriages and comfortable interiors.

We draw on our many years of experience in the transport sector to develop innovative solutions for railway transportation. Another benefit for customers is the shorter development periods and the reduction in costs thanks to virtual product development. Our range of services focuses on the needs of our customers and includes simulations and calculations in the fields of acoustics, aero- and thermo-dynamics and minimisation of material use.

The international aerospace industry has a number of special requirements that it needs to meet, such as strict safety regulations, reduction of environmental impact and high cost pressure. Innovative solutions are required for the further development of aircraft, missiles, space vehicles and satellites.

We have been considered a reliable partner by customers in the aerospace industry for years, based on our expertise and experience in lightweight design, aerodynamics, thermodynamics and analysis and design of components and materials.

Quality and safety requirements are stricter in the pharmaceutical industry and in medical technology than in any other sector.

Extensive international standards and government regulations also apply. With our engineering expertise, we assist our clients in the healthcare sector in complying with these requirements efficiently, reliably and at a low cost.

Are you a bike manufacturer or supplier? Our Bike Team has been carrying out development work for customers in the pedelec industry for a number of years and assists manufacturers and suppliers with reducing development times and improving product quality.

Our portfolio ranges from drive unit lifespan optimisation and bolt connection evaluation through to the use of multi-body system simulation to analyse electric drive units in a bike-rider model.
