The World Needs WILD. We’re Leading the Way.
WILD is at the forefront of creating a future where people and nature flourish together.
Building Global Coalitions for Wild Solutions
For over 50 years, the World Wilderness Congress has brought together Indigenous leaders, scientists, and conservationists to share knowledge, build coalitions, and advance solutions that protect wilderness worldwide.
Advancing Policy with Science & Action
Scientific consensus shows that protecting at least Half of Earth’s lands and waters is essential for sustaining all life. WILD is championing this target and more in international forums, using science and action to turn bold conservation goals into lasting protections.
Centering Indigenous Leadership & Land Stewardship
Indigenous stewardship is at the heart of WILD’s conservation efforts, guiding solutions that protect wild places and strengthen the bonds between people and nature.
