Almost ten years ago we created community-funded, online school devoted specifically to rigid-heddle weaving. It was supported through a generous Patreon community who help keep the pubic weave-alongs going and fund the development of other resources such as the Yarnworker Guide series, the Yarnworker curriculum, and study groups.
We outgrew our space and in 2025 launched YarnworkerU, a brand new sparkling space that allows U to explore the versatile rigid-heddle loom. There is one password to rule them all—if you know, you know—a portal to host public weave-alongs, and tons of support for pledging members who make this ongoing rigid-heddle experience possible.
