  • 🚀 OpenAI Mega News Day For New Models, Agents OpenAI released GPT-5.6 with claims it beats Anthropic’s Fable, alongside ChatGPT Work, a new agent that can gather context across connected apps and files, then create documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other work artifacts across desktop, web, phones, and computers. This is on top of announcing fully duplexed-voice (allowing for interruptions and rapid changes at near human cadence) in conversations. By and large, folks are impressed. OpenAI
  • đź’¸ Meta Puts Agentic Model Pricing To The Test Meta’s first pay-to-use agentic model, Muse Spark 1.1, is reportedly launching with aggressive pricing. Agent workloads amplify every pricing decision: cheaper planning, reflection, and verification loops can change which apps are economically viable and may push the market toward cost-per-task competition instead of benchmark-only marketing. In other words, it’s all about the tokenomics. Mark Zuckberg on X
  • ⚙️ NVIDIA Compresses The Cost Of Long-Running Agents NVIDIA released Nemotron-Labs-3-Puzzle-75B-A9B, an open weights AI model optimized to reduce the cost of running advanced AI systems. The model uses a compressed Mixture of Experts architecture that NVIDIA says delivers up to 2.03x higher throughput on demanding workloads. That efficiency is especially important for AI agents that often spend long periods reasoning, retrieving information, verifying results, and using tools. This release aims to reduce agentic operating costs by attacking that inference tax. MarkTechPost
