I WANT TO PITCH DEEP-HELL.COM, SO HOW DO I DO IT?

DEEP-HELL.COM IS ALWAYS ACCEPTING PITCHES. That doesn’t mean we’ve agreed to pitch anything you send us any time of the year. Read on.

We can usually afford to work with one author at a time, and those rates are as follows:
We’re looking for Gonzo Journalism, Personal Reviews, New Games Journalism, Nonfiction and Fiction art about Real Videogames and Their Effects.

Please consider familiarizing yourself with our articles before pitching: Next it’s the juicy part.

1,200 – 2,000 WORDS FOR $80. Expect about a month turnover for editing and working with you: it usually takes us about two months to get an article up from a freelancer after accepting a submission.

Send us your scraps or failed pitches, we don’t mind. Just clarify that that’s what you’re sending us.

I WANT YOU TO WRITE ABOUT MY VIDEOGAME!

See above section: sending us a code or a demo of your game doesn’t mean we’re always going to write about it. Sending us keys or press releases is fine: you never know when something is going to strike our fancy and get us to write a first impressions piece or otherwise.
