Considering that models were shown in the preview of what is coming, no. A lot of home sewers make clothes for themselves so it makes sense to test out how good they are at fitting themselves.

Because not everyone has a mobile phone.

I found that friend a bit sus to be honest. Couldn't remember this, that and the other.

I found the adaptations after Joan Hickson and David Suchet seem to have a lot of cast members who play it as if it's a comedy. Often seems more PG Wodehouse than Christie. And it drives me insane!

Just had a look at the collection Lia designed for Next. More colourful than last year's winner and their John Lewis collection. But £120 for a lampshade?

And? You're on a forum. Anyone can jump in on any conversation. You asked what the point of changing the pictures was. No one was answering that, so I did. Thought you might appreciate the knowledge. Obviously not.

Head covering isn't a legal requirement but with your daughter it will be company policy. Having worked 25 years in school kitchens every time the uniform changed so did the headgear. I went skullcap-straw boater-baseball cap-trilby-skullcap again. Same with hairnets, not a legal requirement. Our company didn't require…

The point of changing the pictures on bank notes is to help make it harder for forgeries. The current ones have spent their time, and the new ones are needed to help keep cash secure from criminals and make life more difficult for them.

People have been kicking off about Churchill being removed from the fiver.

18 I think.

The club offered it as a special event I think. We didn't have to dress formally or anything, but the meal was over by the time the match started. Very nice it was, but then one of the owners at that time is a famous cook and I know set very high standards for any chefs and kitchen staff the club took on.

It depends on what you've chosen for the service level, and even for different matches. I've had a chance to go to a corporate box a few times. Most werr just sarnies, crisps and cake selection. One was a full sit down 4 course meal.

My father in law is in his 80s and he goes to any funeral of those he knew. Partly, but not only because of the food at the wake. His brother is the same and there is no way they aren't going and then comparing and rating the food. His brother was adked by his daughter if he could drop her at the train station so she…

Wasn't there a member who was convinced that was the criteria? And they also 'know people' who told them exactly who was getting the job? Weirdly I don't think these 3 were on their list! 🤣

If there are considerations about appropriate materials then that should be part of the brief. The glass topped table was a massive health and safety issue. And what was the thought in the 'pub' room behind a sofa that would fit 2 and everyone else having to perch uncomfortably on those manky looking stools? The people…

I'll believe who the new presenters are when it is officially announced and not before.

When you start nodding off before 8pm sat in front of the TV...

People don't understand that hearing aids don't replace your hearing like for like. It can be very uncomfortable and disconcerting using one. My husband has one but has stopped using it as it just completely does his head in, and didn't really help at all.

Sorry to hear of your sudden loss x In our town there are several undertakers who run free bereavement groups. There might be something similar in your area, would be worth looking into. Just remember to look after yourself, it is very easy to forget to eat etc.

When my kids started school we had to take them in and put their coats on their pegs for the first few days. The smell of smoke on some of the other coats there made the cloakroom stink! And it wasn't the smell of fresh cigarette smoke, but that cloying old stale smoke smell. God knows what those kids lungs were like.

Just back from Pwllheli. Obviously went to have a peek. In the flesh you really see how much they have on their plate, even only sering the outside!

No, I just hate having my photo taken.

You'd never get that hassle off me.

You're not getting me in a work group photo unless it's mandated by the company. I hate having my photo taken, always have and won't be bullied into it.

Angela Scanlon ruled herself out today on the Patrick Kielty radio show (5 live I think). He asked her outright and she said she knew as much as he did as they had both obviously been reading the same trash in the media.

I've been watching the series, but I just don't seem to connect with it. I can't say what, but I feel something is missing. Maybe at half and hour the getting to know the sitter by the artist feeks superficial? I really wanted to like it.

The thing that irked me most about Josh, apart from trying to get under the others skin by announcing at the start he had 2 stars, was his barking 'SERVICE!'. A please costs nothing.

I don't think he was fully cleared of anything. The police just decided not to pursue it, possibly on the advice of CPS regarding quality/quantity of evidence. I can't see the BBC sacking someone who has been fully cleared.

Robert Webb had Dianne as his partner.
