benching the 3 British pros.
-
They didn't have enough male pros as Gorka was in Spain, and they only had Neil who is the perpetual bench, incase one of the male pros gets sick or drops out. So they needed an extra male pro. However on the female side 3 were benched.

Was Skinner bottom or second bottom of the public vote in week 2 - we will never know because the BBC don't release the voting figures. They should release them at the end of the series. The lack of transparency from the BBC means Skinner has a case. If they did release the votes then we would all know the truth, as it is…
-
I don't know why the employed Alexis, they had enough if not too many female pros already.
-
so did I , but so glad that he didn't. Well done Kaz.
-
For those that voted for George and Karen, in a 2 way vote they cancel each other out. Amber wasn't rated so did not count. It would only make sense to give all your votes to George or Karen not both. I gave my 8 to Karen BTW.
-
I thought that accolade would go to JoJo, but well done Carlos.
-
they could give craig an honorary knighthood, but I doubt they would bother. I see Shirley hankering after a damehood.
-
Kai with Lauren a close second. I would also like to see Katya lifting the glitterball again.
-
G and A's showdance was the best, but it was all Alexis showing off her skills as usual. Glad they didn't win the glittterball, Karen was more deserving.
-
8 for Karen
-
Thats what I meant, release the voting figures after the show ended, like all the independent channels do, although I have noticed 'I'm a celeb' only releases the final votes, not the votes for each elimination.
-
Interesting.
-
when it comes to the final there is prize money £100,000 for the winner, and we don't even know who comes second, although that will be obvious this year. I hate the lack of transparency with the votes.
-
Given the BBC are so open with their voting (NOT) - it will be interesting to say the least. Maybe he should ask for the voting figures for that week, as i have always said the lack of transparancy can lead to votes being rigged. We don't even know who the indepedent verifiers are. We pay a licence fee to the BBC it is…
-
good luck yo Karen tonight, hope she will make it, she deserves it.
-
Maybe its recency bias but for me it was Lewis, I really thought Katya had a chance of the glitterball this year after the disappointment with Nigel Harman in 23.
-
I am the other way around.
-
It has to be Kaz. Since Lewis left I have been supporting Kaz, the only one left who I think is a deserving winner. Also she has spinal stenosis but never let it hold her back. Karen Carney, the former England footballer and "Strictly Come Dancing" contestant, has revealed she suffers from a serious spinal condition that…

Just like President Trump. Janette, Karen etc are just as American as Alexis is, but I suppose since Trump came into power, being a full blooded American now has a different meant (i.e white). BTW Trump is half Scottish and half German.
-
Karen, Lewis and Amber should be in the final. Lewis should be there instead of George (1 bad dance and he went home). It was the judges fault for all the ties on the LB last week. Even Shirley is disappointed, but she was partially responsible.
-
There is not a such a thing as a full blooded American, unless you mean first nations. American's have ancestry from all over the world.
-
it would be great for womens sport if a lioness won, same with Jill Scott when she won I'm a celeb,
-
I'm a celeb has a different demographic than strictly - I'm a celeb has more teen - 20 something viewers than strictly, which has more 50 something viewers. Yes people of all ages watch both programs but most youngsters I know watch i'm a celeb but not necessarily strictly (they tend to go out on a Saturday night).
-
I'm glad someone agrees with me
-
I didn't say it wont survive, I said it will be benched for a couple of years and come back with a new look. That is different to saying it will never be back.
-
Was Karen not above Amber on the LB.
-
yes, with the exception of Kaz the contestants weren't great. With Claude and Tess going it is bye bye Strictly. I can see it being benched for a couple of years, and then coming back with a fresh look.
-
On the male side they actually needed an extra pro, as only Neil was benched (as Gorka was working in Spain), and Neil fills that role. On the female side they has 3 perfectly capable pros benched.
-
I agree Michelle, Luba and Nancy all benched. Nadiya, Lauren, Jowita going out early, they did not need an extra female pro. Why did they employee her. I really don't want her sweeping in and winning, she is the main reason why I am not supporting George. Strictly were very unfair to the existing female pros this series.
